Clubs and Groups

Service 1There is lots going on at St. Oswald’s, not just on Sundays but during the week, in the church, the hall, and out in the community. We hope that there is something - of a serious nature or more light-hearted - for everyone, young or old.

  • Activities for children and young people include a crèche and Sunday school of Sunday mornings; a discussion group for those of secondary school age;  two Youth Clubs for different age groups; and of course the church choir – for adults as well as young people.

  • For adults there are two Mothers Union groups (afternoon and evening); a monthly Men’s Breakfast and discussion; a First Friday Tea and Chat afternoon; The Network is for roughly the 20 to 40 age group and combines the serious with the purely social.

  • Bible study and prayer fellowships, meet regularly, and study courses are held over a period of weeks from time to time.

  • Rainbow Guides, Brownies, and Guides also meet in our hall, as do other groups not directly run by the church, such as

    U3A, (u3asites.org.uk  )

    A thriving Pre-school, (stoswaldspreschool.co.uk )

    Workshop Orchestra (watford-workshop-orchestra.org.uk )

    and several others.
